What services does Dr. Elkinson offer?

Comprehensive health and wellness treatments that focus on each patient’s individual needs.  This includes gynecological wellness, mental health, sexual health, urgent treatment visits, medical guided weight loss assistance, in house lab and ultrasound.

Office based treatment of stress, urge and mixed urinary incontinence, weak pelvic floor muscles, and painful intercourse with Empower RF.

Hormonal health including Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.

Surgical management of benign gynecologic issues such as abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, pelvic floor weakness.

What does Hybrid Membership practice mean?

Dr. Elkinson is in network with most major insurance plans.  This does not include Medicaid/Medicare.  For in network plans – In addition to your membership fees we are obligated to collect specialty copays/deductibles and file all medical services such as appointments, or surgical procedures with your insurance company.  Also, all labs and pathology will be billed to your insurance company.   The membership fee includes a comprehensive appointment with Dr. Elkinson, in addition you also receive full 24/7 direct access to Dr. Elkinson or her team, with a goal of minimizing delay or wait in your care.

Can I still see Dr. Elkinson if I am an Out of network, high deductible or Medicaid/Medicare patient?

Yes – we offer cash pay options.  Your membership fee will include all visits for the year.   Included in the membership fee is your annual wellness exam that will include lab work and Pap smear.   If you have health insurance, you will be able to use that for labs, as our lab is in Network with most insurance companies. We have special cash pricing for additional services provided.  We offer quarterly payment plans.

Does Bluegrass Gynecology & Wellness offer telehealth?

Our mission is to offer healthcare without the wait.  We do offer convenient telehealth appointments to avoid any delays in your care.

Do I need to be a member to see Dr. Elkinson?

Yes - Our medical practice is 100% membership based.  This model offers a smaller patient panel resulting in extended appointment times, same day or next day appts and a comprehensive and personalized approach to your care. During your visit, you’ll enjoy an in-depth discussion of your health with Dr. Elkinson, with time to provide detailed answers to any questions you may have.
